David first visited Israel while on a business trip. He fell in love immediately. Since then, he's led numerous trips to Israel. He graduated from seminary at Gardner-Webb University with his Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies and is an ordained minister at First Baptist Church in Hickory, NC. At church, David teaches an adult Bible study class on Sundays and is the Youth Pastor. Teaching about the Jewish roots of Christianity is his passion!
Noelle has always loved both teaching and traveling! After home-schooling all three children through high school, teaching Bible study to high school students and working part-time in the corporate world, she began following her passion as a travel specialist nine years ago. Organizing trips for both individuals and groups, Noelle uses her experience in travel and organizational skills to create itineraries that match the desires of her clients. It is her greatest pleasure to help people experience a destination in the way that suits their personalities and preferences. Boaz Shalgi, General Manager of EDI Travel, is a seventh generation Israeli with a passion for his country and an urge to share its spectacular history, culture, sights and sounds with visitors from abroad. Boaz, who grew up in the winding streets of Jerusalem, spent six years of his childhood in Nigeria, where his father was employed. It was there that he developed an early passion for travel. After serving in an IDF combat unit in 1995, Boaz became a licensed tour guide. Turning his love of the land and enthusiasm for history into a thriving career, Boaz has spent the last 15 years taking hundreds of individuals and groups around Israel, gaining lifelong friends who are a testimony to his extraordinary professionalism, vast knowledge and warm personality. Tourism comes naturally to the Shalgi family. Boaz's mother Nurit worked as a tour operator for more than three decades and his wife Magie spent many years as an organizer of international conferences. Both are today engaged with Boaz in the EDI enterprise, adding motivation and skills to the company profile. |
